We offer our services to patients with respiratory failure who do not need to be hospitalised at an intensive care unit, but who require regular respiratory therapy using a ventilator. This services includes 24-hour mechanical or pressure assisted respiration.
Our mechanical ventilation services are provided as part of three units: The Care and Therapy Unit for Adult Patients, The Care and Therapy Unit for Children and Teenagers, and Care and Therapy Programmes.

Nursing care for mechanically ventilated patients
Long-Term Home Care for Mechanically Ventilated Patients is a service for patients with chronic respiratory failure who require to be mechanically ventilated continuously or periodically as well as regular specialist medical supervision, professional care and rehabilitation, but who do not need to be hospitalised at an intensive care unit or a 24h care unit, and either invasively (using a ventilator and a trach tube) or non-invasively (using mouthpieces, masks or helmets). The biggest advantage of mechanical ventilation in a home setting is that the patient has the comfort of living at home, engaging in their daily household or work routines, while improving the patient’s well-being and quality of life.
This service is provided under a contract with the National Health Fund.

Care and Therapy Unit for Mechanically Ventilated Children and Young People
BetaMed S.A. is one of the few centres in Poland that provide such services to children and young people under a contract with the National Health Fund. The unit welcomes children from anywhere in Poland.
Our experienced, qualified personnel make sure that the young patients are provided with a home-like setting and put their hearts into their work for them. The children stay in cosy rooms located in modern buildings without architectural barriers, which provided our young patients with safe conditions for their lives.
