Ultrasound
The centre’s Diagnostic Imaging Laboratory is equipped with quality apparatus for ultrasound tests and ultrasound tests combined with the use of elastography.
The ultrasound laboratory is equipped with modern apparatus for ultrasound tests with the use of elastography.
In a standard ultrasound test with elastography, the doctor uses the ultrasound head to exert slight pressure on the organ being tested. The scale of deformation under the pressure is converted and presented in coloured maps known as elastograms.

We offer bone and joint X-ray diagnostic tests including scans of the spine, chest, abdominal cavity, arms and legs.

Gastroscopy
We use a modern method of stress-free gastroscopy which involves inserting a thin gastroscope through the nose.
A very big advantage of this method of examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract is the fact that after completing the entire examination, the patient does not feel the sore throat that may occur after traditional gastroscopy.

Colonoscopy
At BetaMed Medical Center we care for the comfort of our patients during colonoscopy.
The test uses carbon dioxide, which is pumped into the intestinal lumen through a thin, flexible instrument placed in the rectum. Carbon dioxide used to fill the large intestine reduces the patient’s pain during and after the colonoscopy, because it is quickly absorbed in the intestines, which reduces uncomfortable bloating.
